IMPORTANT; PLEASE READ
Installing Cruise-Mate requires enlarging the threaded hole for the original equipment star wheel throttle lock. If you can drill and tap a straight hole you won't need the installation Jig, if you're not confident you can drill and tap accurately we strongly recommend you purchase the installation Jig which includes guide to keep drill and tap straight. Bikes with Electronic Throttle (TBW) also require a stop Pin. Cruise-Mate uses the rear cable as the off position stop for bikes with throttle cables, because bikes with electronic throttle don't have cables you'll need to install a Stop Pin where the rear cable would be (see image here). |
